As I read the other reviews I realized that I'm not the only one that they tried very hard to scam. I would add to what others wrote: I asked Mathew and James to send me the "restrictions" by email because it was very difficult to understand them. Their answer was that they explained at least three times on the phone the "restrictions". I kept telling them that I barely understood them, and they kept telling me that they already went through the “restrictions” on the phone. I canceled my card before they got my money. Please stay away from this company, you'll pay much more to buy a ticket through foggyfly.

false advertising

They lead you to believe that you are getting a confirmed conformation with ticket within 24-48 hours but you don't get one as you are purchasing what is called a stand by ticket. Because they only do anything 6 hours before the flight and then they mail you a post card for your e-ticket which does you no good to be able to get on that flight. Don't Waste your Money

I booked a flight as everyone else of this review string, got a call saying they were making sure my information was correct and that the flight I booked was not available any longer and I could rebook the same flight to Atlanta from BWI for $100 more. I told Marcus that I would NOT he said my money was nonrefundable. I checked my credit card it had not been charged yet for the flight so I told Marcus to hold on and I cancelled the card and told him to have a great day. He also informed me about all the lawyers they have on their staff. I know I have gotten about 10 calls from them. Never Never again.

Beware: Total Scam and Horrible Customer Service

I had a terrible experience with this flight agency. They have absolutely no regard for their customers and are only interested in taking your money. I booked a flight from LA to China and ended up paying almost $4000. To make matters worse, they charged my card double the amount. This company is a total scam. They probably pay people to write good reviews because the things I experienced from them were atrocious. I’m surprised they’re still in business, but I’m sure all they do is scam people and then pay for positive reviews to lure in more victims. Please be aware and avoid them at all costs!

SCAM - STAY AWAY

They show the best price, but when you book, they call and tell you that the tickets are "restricted" and no baggage is allowed, even carry on. They then try to tell you how you got such a great deal, and if you want to upgrade, then you can take bags. First, don't book with these guys! If you do, do not agree to the initial charge, or any new charges. Tell them to send you your tickets / airline confirmation as you booked them, or cancel. Of course they say they can not cancel. I let their "pending" charge sit on my credit card for 4 days, and now it's gone. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!!!!

FoggyFly is a scam operation

FoggyFly is a scam operation. After booking your discounted flight, you will notice an itinerary changed a few at the last minute which will force you to rebook at higher rates. They will promise you a refund on your original booking and even show you this in writing. However, they will not provide the refund. You can try calling their support representatives but they are trained to deflect and delay and continue the false promises. After 3 months, I was finally awarded a chargeback from my credit card, which successfully identified fraudulent business practices. Do not use them.

Scam

I purchased a ticket with Foggy Fly weeks ago. At the time I was looking at another ticket on their site with Delta, but was talked into a cheaper ticket with Spirit. I did make sure to confirm in writing that it included carry ons since Spirit tends to charge for everything. Once I receive my ticket, it was $65/person each way to add a carry on. I reached out to both Eddy and Kristie multiple times in hopes they coukd fix things and they stopped responding. Now Iam looking at paying more for the tickets as well as dealing with the chargeback on my CC. Not worth any savings!

NEVER USE THIS SITE!

Please please be aware.. this website is a total scam. They make a reservation, send you tickets. Then the day before the flight they let you know your flight was canceled because price of ticket went up!!! More than TRIPPLE!! Then they say no refund.. so you pay a fortune to get the ticket. And honest truth… the day of the flight I’m not on the manifest… airline cancelled it because Frogifly booked wrong dates( even though the e tickets they sent have the right dates!!! I now have lost $1000+ to them. And guess what?? No flight, no help… just gone!!!Do not use!!!!!

They lure you in with a cheap ticket, but that's where the nightmare begins. The ticket doesn't guarantee the day or time you want to depart. Agents will tell you, 'You'll find out if your ticket is confirmed one day before your departure.' And if no ticket is available? They casually suggest leaving the next day or on any available airline after your planned departure date. Forget about canceling-it's non-refundable. You're forced to buy a more expensive ticket just to leave on time. The entire experience makes you feel like a hostage. Avoid at all costs.

Scam artist

I have booked a flight and I was so happy with the price of $586 no more than three hours went by when I get a call saying that I have to pay another $520 to take this trip because American Airlines was booked. I called American Airlines and they were not booked. They inform me that no reservation was made on my name, American Airlines also informed me for me to call my bank, which I did people do not go on. Foggyfly They Are scammers I called the Better Business Bureau on them. Even the Better Business Bureau did not recognize that company.

Bait and switch

Please don’t waste your time and money with this nonsense. You are quoted one price and you purchase it, then the next day they call and say there is a problem with the flight out, because your return flight is confirmed. So they want you to pay several hundreds of dollars more to secure your flight. They say if not you can’t take a carryon and you may not get to fly out on the day you had booked. So, this company is a total scam. Attached is how much they kept trying to charge my card, which has my money tied up now.

Fraud alert.

I will not get into details all I have to say is scam save yourself time and frustration book with a reputable company. The name froggy flights is a dead give away. You could get better customer service and flights from a frog than this company meaning zero on both accounts . If you have the misfortune in booking with them good luck in canceling your credit card before they charge you for nothing because that’s what you be paying for. Too bad you have to give them one star they deserve zero.

Horrible! Stay away at all costs! It is a bait and switch. Once they get your information they keep adding hundreds of dollars and will not return your money! I had to cancel my credit card and report them as fraudulent. Live and learn. Do not make the same mistake I did. Do not let their advertised low prices lure you in. How can an operation like this exist. Laws against deceptive advertising, laws agains bait and switch? Now I need to worry about what they are doing with all my information.

Booked a flight and then got a call that my flight was basic economy, and I could only take one personal item on, this did not include a carry on. They wanted more to upgrade, to take a carry on and one personal item. Then what a booked the return flight wasn't available and had been oversold, so I would be standby I said, "This was unacceptable, and I hung up'" I then put a stop payment on my CC. We shall see. If the payment goes through, I will dispute it, as I did not get what I paid for.

although it seems like a cheaper alternative i would NOT recommend booking through foggy fly. if i could give 0 stars i would. any little inconvenience as far as change of days or mistyped information will bring headaches. i needed to switch flight times and was told i had to pay for a whole new round trip ticket. along without getting credited or refund for the initial ticket i bought and was just out $600. Be smart and book through someone else more reliable. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID.

I book a flight at night since their site says to call if you have any questions that's what I did next morning the lady I spoke told me that in the last name line i put my first name so my first name was twice on the booking then she told me that they can't do anything that the price change but they going to give me a discount this a big scam my is in 45 days I called then less than 12 hours to make sure everthing was right.. this is the biggest scam site you will fine out there ...

Foggyfly is not a good place to book airline tickets

would never recommend using Foggyfly. Terrible customer service, no one speaks English. After asking and talking with 4 agents could not understand any of them. They were suppose to email our boarding passes the day before our trip. Never received any boarding passes. Had I not gone directly to the airline website and gotten the boarding passes we would not have had our boarding passes. Called the phone number listed and it was always busy. Do not use this company. Not good!

HORRIBLE SCAM

guys please be careful when booking from them. They’ll lure in with showing a cheap flight option and by sending you a fake confirmation when you’re done paying. After that they’ll call you to let you know that there’s no available seats for the flight that you book and will get you to pay MORE to change to a different (non existent) flight. They go by the name Jason, Travis, Danial etc. when asked the manager name he muted the phone only to tell me the name was “Ethan smith”

Can the government close this company? What a horrible experience…bought two tickets, one was confirmed and the second one wasn’t but with an increase in the price paid. I said no thanks, I do not confirm the tickets and then they threw the ball oh you might be charged? What? Why? The person I spoke with is the supervisor, who tried to explain the company policies, which clearly do not make any sense. Do yourself a favor, boycott and never use this company to get any tickets.

I booked a $760 flight through FoggyFly.com, but never received an airline confirmation. When I called, they demanded an extra $550 for a carry-on and checked bag—charges that were never disclosed during booking. They also refused to cancel or refund the reservation, even though no actual ticket was issued. The website does not show any luggage policy or refund terms. This is a bait-and-switch scam designed to trap travelers with hidden fees after payment.

SCAM- GARBAGE WEBSITE- STAY AWAY!!

SCAM!! Booked a ticket, then they contacted me to say there were "no seats on that flight", and I had to book on another flight. So they sold me something they didn't have- BAIT AND SWITCH. Then my return flight was changed, and I didn't get a notification- because they had someone else's phone number and email listed with the airline! Also- my credit card was suspiciously used for almost $2,000 in online betting shortly after using Foggy Fly. STAY AWAY!!

Bait & Switch - Total SCAM

Unlike Priceline, Travelocity, etc., these guys don't actually have the inventory they are selling. That is, they don't actually book your flight, even though they take your credit card information. After the "booking" they contact you saying that to actually get the flight you "booked" it will cost $500 to $,1,000 more. AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS. Also, check out their Better Business Bureau rating - that should tell you everything you need to know.

Mosie and foggy reps are a disgrace

Mosie and the rest of the representatives are horrible. They make promises and low ball pricing then they don't notify you they can't get that fair luckily if you call back then they raise the price three times. We could have gotten it much cheaper elsewhere right off the bat and still now but yet they lie through their teeth disgraceful people on the earth. Stay away from these horror shows. Attorney general, Interpol, FBI, will be contacted.

Nasty, nasty, nasty people scamming away like crazy. Don't fall for their BS claims of not being able to check bags, etc. etc. etc., or believe any of the fake 5 star reviews. They will take your money and then look to upsell you to different flights, then try to intimidate you if you don't play along. FRAUDSTERS!! FTC needs to shut them down!!!! How anyone can work there and feel good about what they do is beyond me. Disgusting company.

They charged me $130 more, they called to confuse and make surcharges that do not exist and to be able to collect or make illegitimate extra charges. For example cost of luggage, difference in fares. I bought with them and it was more expensive than if I had bought it directly with the airline and even though they said that the luggage was already included, they lied and I have to pay additionally for that to the airline.

Don't use this company. I just purchased what I thought was a ticket for my daughter to fly from Seattle to DFW, round trip. Some guy with FoggyFly calls to talk to me about my ticket from Phoenix?! When I tell him he has it wrong, he argues with me. It's a scam! I tried contacting through website and an email to the contact info, but no good. And I only gave 1 star because I couldn't make it zero stars!

This is a scam you should steer clear of. They book your ticket, you pay, but there's no guarantee for your date or seat. Two days before your flight, they'll call, asking you to change your date or pay extra to fly on the date you booked. It's crucial that you DO NOT deal with these types of scams from India. In small, it says at the bottom of their page, " We do not guarantee the flight date or seats.

This site is a complete scam. I booked a flight because it seemed cheaper than other options, only to discover that I had no baggage allowance. When I called customer service, they were unhelpful and told me my only option was to change my booking—at double the original price. When I requested a refund, the service is reportedly rude and even threatens to charge the full amount even I cancel the booking.

This agency lied about the price of a flight, not telling me until after I booked that I could not have any carry on luggage. Since they did not disclose this before I booked they refused to refund my money. As a result I had to book another flight that was more expensive. I was promised a $150 voucher for another flight but that was a lie. This agency is dishonest and despicable. DO NOT BOOk
