Complete Scam Required Me to Cancel My Debit Card

Do not fall for this scam. I was excited to find a good price on an airline ticket from from TarifasoDeal. As soon as I purchased, I received a message stating that they would contact me when the tickets were purchased. Made no sense. An agent with an Indian accent called to inform me that the ticket I purchased was a rock bottom discounted ticket that would not allow me to carry any baggage, not even a purse. They could offer me a ticket including baggage for an additional $300. I told them I wanted to cancel and get an immediate refund. They said that the ticket is non-refundable. I knew I could not trust that I would ever get a legitimate airline ticket. I paused my debit card and called my bank. They said that they only way to protect my account from further fraudulent charges is to cancel the card and get a new one. This is a huge inconvenience since all my auto-payments and shopping accounts are connected to this account. TarifasoDeal called me back eight more times to try to get me to agree to a more expensive ticket. Don't believe them when they say that you can't get your money back. Dispute the charge immediately and buy from a reputable airline or website. I can't believe these guys are able to get away with this. Be safe everyone.

Oh, what a steal! I booked a round-trip flight from DC to Turin for just under $437—what an absolute bargain, right? But wait, the plot thickens. Moments after booking, I got a call from Bob at the company (a true gem) to "confirm" my flight. How thoughtful. Turns out, confirmation is just corporate-speak for "surprise, you can't bring a bag—or even a carry-on." If I dare to bring so much as a toothbrush, I’d need to cough up the regular fare of $1,100. Because, of course, who wouldn’t want to fly to Italy with nothing but a wallet and a sense of betrayal? And the best part? Bob, in all his wisdom, informs me that canceling isn’t an option since the return flight is "already confirmed." According to him, at least. Because, naturally, he would know. If a company is going to flaunt its oh-so-generous 60% discount, maybe—just maybe—they should slap a massive disclaimer on the booking page instead of playing a twisted game of "gotcha" over the phone. But no, they’d rather confirm your number, leave a sweet little voicemail, and then gleefully tighten the noose. This isn't just a scam. It's a masterclass in legalized robbery. Please be careful. Make sure to call them first when you see a massive discount sign!!

Do NOT book with Tarifasodeal — avoid their "basic fare" trap.

Initially, their website shows an attractive "basic fare," so you proceed to book. But shortly after, they call and tell you that one leg of your ticket is confirmed, while the other one is on standby, causing major stress because you don’t know when you will actually fly. The agent even warned that the airline may later claim that the seat at the booked price is “unavailable,” and will push you to pay extra for alternative options. In the end, you are forced to book a different date and time at a much higher price. This is misleading and frustrating. The basic fare they advertise is not guaranteed for the date and time you book. I ended up paying $550 for a ticket that was available for $360 on Expedia. Plus, I wasted hours on calls trying to fix everything. Avoid Tarifasodeal. Stick to trusted platforms like Expedia, Cheapoair, or Skyscanner. I think you can even get affordable options directly on airline website, it will still be better than Tarifasodeal for sure. Beware of this website to book flight tickets.

SCAM!!!! STAY AWAY!!! VERY AGGRESSIVE!!!

Looked up some tickets using sky scanner and picked the ones from TarifasoDeal, it was an attractive price. At first it kind of looked weird because it was not asking as much information as the normal sites (the was the first flag which I ignored and pay for it later on), but after you book it, you get a message saying your ticket confirmation will be sent in a separate email. I get back from work and find about 9 missed calls from them, with a few voice messages asking me to call to discuss my flight reservation. Then they tell me my seats are on stand by and if I do not get to fly that day I can change it to another day. Makes not sense. I asked for a refund and they tell me my transaction is not refundable and I can confirm my tickets today for an additional $334. Making my tickets about $886. I fought with them for a long time on the phone and ended up paying what they asked in order to not ruined the vacations for my wife. This business is a scam, do not think you are getting a deal!

This travel agency is a bunch of liars, they advertise on their website trips at one price and then they call you to say that this fare is no longer available and that you have to pay more and that they will send you on another airline, and when they call you to confirm your details they do not accept that you want your money back, they are aggressive and I do not know where they are from but they speak Spanish with a Brazilian accent, and they threatened me that I will lose my money because according to them I did not read the restrictions, but their restrictions do not say that they can change even the airline, and they make you feel that you owe them money, when you buy through the web page there is no need to call you to offer more products and worse that they change the airline, the page says that I travel with United and then they call me to say that this fare is no longer available and that I will travel with Spirit, so if this review would accept 0 I would rate it a 0.

BEWARE OF SCAM

I was looking for a flight as I am not a frequent flyer. I thought that looking on cheap flights.com would be a good place to look and I seen that Tarifasodeal had a good deal or so I thought. after booking the flight I noticed my birthday was wrong so I called their costumer service number and this is where the scam came to light. I was told that this booking did not include luggage. Who travels without luggage!!! Ambros was his name and he was pushy and very very rude and told me that this was not refundable although I could pay $300 more to have luggage. To top it off after talking to 5-6 other badly accented India sounding people some said they canceled it and some say it's not possible to cancel. My advice is never book with an online booker and just go directly with the airlines. yes you pay more but there is no stress and no fine lines because there is not indication that these bookings are without luggage!!!

Total Scam

Total Scammers, they advertised a flight that they couldn't fulfill so they called me and kept me on the phone for 30 minutes giving me different flight options that i didn't want. Finally they said they would book with Spirit airlines the same flight i had already found on the spirit airlines website. It was a few dollars more so I agreed just to get on with life. When i got the itinerary it said no luggage was included even though the whole time during our conversation i emphasized that i needed to bring luggage. Then I called them and said to just cancel but they refused. I sent an email saying they need to cancel everything and i never received a response. Totally unprofessional organization and just trying to make a quick dollar from the same exact flights you can find straight from the airlines.

SCAMMERS BAIT AND SWITCH PRATICES

I purchased 4 seats and was sent an email saying to contact them to 'CONFIRM ' my itinerary. I called back and thsts where everything went south real fast with them telling me my husband and 1 grandson were confirmed but me and my other grandson were not and to get on the confirmed list I would have to pay and additional 50% of the original cost and when I declined that option and ask for the transaction to be canceled. I was told I would lose all my money. No where on the website is this information stated. They are disgusting over there. No worries though I will just dispute any and all charges as I was NEVER ISSUED ANY TICKETS. PLEASE DONOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. Would give them a negative feedback if I could and that is being positive. VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS EXPERIENCE

Scam- bait and switch

I booked a flight to toronto from Houston, It started out at $293 after a week of not getting a ticket I called and was told that they were waiting on the airline another week later I recived an email for me to call them. Iwas told that the airline released some seats but it is going to cost me another #309 when I requested to cancel that it was non refundable. Then I finally got an e ticket withe the incorrect date May 20, when I called I was told that I approve the date change. I DID NOT, the agent said they could change it but it was going to be $149 change fee. A $293 flight ended up to be over $700. I feel that I was duped and when I complained to the agent Sheldon, his attitude was too bad that what it was. He made it sound that he was doing me a favor to change the flight.

Sharon (not her real name, she was from India) is the scammer that called me to tell me that I was on the waitlist for one of my flight tickets. They said that I needed to book a different flight that is $724 for one ticket, my ticket was only $412 roundtrip. I said I want exactly what I bought and nothing else. I looked at this site and I started reading off the reviews to her telling her that she is a scammer. She got very hostile and I told her I will be getting my money back from my bank and reporting this is a fraud. She told me that one of the tickets have already been purchased and I will not get refunded. I told her I already locked my bank account and good luck charging me anything. Luckily caught this scam before they were able to take any money from me.

Awful scammers

I booked a flight from Atlanta to omaha for a price of $272.77. I received an email confirmation and it said I would get another email with my ticket. After 2 days still no ticket. I missed a call from an unknown phone number, checked my voice mail and it was them asking me to call. I called back and they told me since I didn't answer the phone and confirm my purchase they would have to rebook for over $600. I told them.to cancel and they said I couldn't. After several heated minutes i hung up and my husband called the credit card company. Apparently they hadn't charged our card yet...so we locked our card so they can't charge it. Oh...and when I initially called them they let me know that no baggage, no carryon, not even a purse is allowed.

Travel Lie - Fake WEBSITE - FRAUD out of India

Do not book a ticket on this website, this is a call center house out of India and they have no tickets. It's a scam call center out of India to trick you with a fake website and everything. I repeat they have NO Flight tickets, they go to the website of the airline and book your ticket, which you can do yourself at a considerable savings. They get your credit card and then immediately call you and tell you they have no seats available at that price and hit you up with a huge upgrade. Don't buy it. It's all a scam to get your credit card and then charge a fee to Travel Experts for whatever they want to charge. I am also going to cancel the credit card I gave them and close it out. I'm sure they will try to charge other things to it. BUYER BEWARE

Totally Scam & never use this website again

My friends purchased air tickets to Hong Kong from this website few weeks ago, they had a horrible experience, while they were in process to book their tickets and there was no any information about addition charged in needed for carry on and check-in luggage, after they completed their booking, the customer service guy called and asked to pay addition $600 for carry on and check-in luggage, also the service guy was very rude and said that once booking submitted and can't be canceled, after long discuss with them but they still need to pay additional over $200 for carry on and check-in luggage, this is totally scam and put customer in terrible situation and please never use this website----"TarifasoDeal" for purchase air ticket again!!!

STOP DONT BE SCAMMED

Long story short… bought a ticket to bring our soldier home for the holidays. They called saying the ticket went up in price, the one we purchased is no longer available (LIE) It’s non-refundable (LIE) No luggage unless you upgrade ( LIE) Called United got a refund for the total amount of the ticket, but these scammers added $313 for their service. Called to have it refunded, said they’d call me back within one hour (LIE) I have made a claim with our fraud department and close that account. It’s hard to think my son defends this country and people like them live in it. I pray they have a change of heart and stop SCAMMING PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR HATD EARN MONEY 😡. What kind of parents raise these people? 😡

Terrible experience

I had a terrible experience. I bought a flight with an excellent price. It was too good to be true. I should have suspected that it was a schema. I had to call a number. On the phone, the person told me that the flight that I bought has no carry-on and no bags and that they could only issue the ticket one day prior to departure. And they try to convince to change for a flight with different dates and much more expensive. They would not just cancel the flight. I said that I will dispute the charges if they try to charge my credit card. They said that if I try to dispute, the airlines will prohibit the passengers to flight in their airline. Basically, lying to me. Don’t fall for this schema.

SCAM!

I booked a round trip, thinking it was booked when I hit confirm, but then I got an email from them saying call to confirm my flight. I called and was clearly speaking to someone out of country. They put me on hold and hung up on me. I called back and got transferred 3 times, one of them not even speaking English. The final person I spoke to said only my flight to my destination was available, but not my flight back. I could either pay hundreds of dollars more for the same exact flight, or I could try a different air port. They also said no matter what I am getting the charged I expected even though they are not giving me the flight I booked. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!

Hoy compramos 3 boletos para viajar a Madrid en Dic 2025. El precio de los pasajes estaba muy bueno, unos minutos después de terminar la compra recibimos una llamada donde nos notificaron que los boletos que habíamos comprado en ese precio estábamos en lista de espera. Nos ofrecieron otra tarifa por $634 más y ya con eso se solucionaba el problema. En la tarifa que compramos no decía nada de ser una lista de espera. Yo considero esto publicidad engañosa, pero, cómo ya había pagado pasa a ser una estafa. Por supuesto los tickets no son reembolsables lo que causa que tengamos que iniciar un reclamo con el banco. No hagan compras en esta página, tengan mucho cuidado

absolutely the worst experience ever. Please don’t waste your time.

absolutely predatory company that advertises one price and then you’ll get a phone call the next morning saying that that price is not available anymore and they’ll try to charge a double when you don’t wanna pay double then they’ll try to reroute you to a different airport that’s close by and probably give you multiple layovers. Even though they can’t offer you the price and the flight that you paid for you’re still unable to cancel it. Ultimately cost me an extra $150 on top of three hours of my time on the phone with these people. It wasn’t until I asked for a manager that I actually got the E ticket. It was less than 24 hours before the flight. Beware.

NEVER deal with these folks False Advertising

I booked online for a certain itinerary. Afterwards, on the phone they informed me there is NO carry on and NO baggage allowed!! They claimed their website says this. I could not find any information like this on their website. I ask them to cancel... NO they cannot because of policy!! I finally talked to a manager... the flight was not finalized.... the return was not available!! WOW very deceptive marketing. in the end he claimed they would not charge my card. He indicated the airline might!! Prior to that i cancelled my credit card since i no longer trust them. read other reviews.... and fly with someone reliable.

Advertised fare prices are '"cheap" until you book and get a call from them. We were informed that the "economy" ticket we booked for a 15 hr international flight does not include check in baggage or carry on, and worst of all there was no food. They would state that there is no refund( but they have not issued e-tickets contrary to the rules on their website). They would offer to" help" you book alternative flights provided you are "flexible" of course for additional fees making your initial purchase price way higher. All scripted drama by professional scammers . Avoid Tarifasodeal at any cost or it will cost you much money.

Worst experience ever. I bought an international flight for $450, and I got a confirmation email including my itinerary, however, it didn’t include a confirmation id with the airline. 3 hours later I received a call and I didn’t attend and then I received an email saying that they needed to verify my credit card information as my reservation was in progress. I call them back and the surprise was that try flight now cost $280 more and I should pay for it. Of course I didn’t accept and they started being so rude and make charges to my card without authorization, however my card was cancelled by me before. Please run away from them!!!

BE CAREFUL BEFORE BUYING

NEW SCAMMERS.... .. . They sell you a flight for a good price and then send you an email to call them back for something that went wrong. Then they say your flight did not go through. And they do not reinbolse your money. You have to buy a diferent flight for a new price or you loose the money that you already paid. They charged me $ 816 first.. hen they said it was goung to be $ 360 more but they end up charging me $ 871 more withoug my permition. They say they are based in Florida but i dont think so. They all have east indian accent. Not l. I am not a racist but they are the kings of the scammers.

Scam

Shortly after booking they called (here we go VERBALLY no record) said...said we had tickets with Jet Blue, but no carry on luggage allowed at all, something that was not in the contract when we booked, changing the terms of the agreement after the fact. I asked for the ticket number...nothing, requested the ticket number via an email in writing!!..still nothing. They had been contracted to booked a ticket, but it appears they did not honor that contract but proceeded to renegotiate the contract VERBALLY, not in writing. Shame on the credit card companies allowing this to continue.

Complete SCAM

Please don't buy tickets from TarifasoDeal because they are a scam company. Only one lady picks up the phone. They ask for your eSignature and the copy of your either passport or driver's license. They take the money from your credit card with the name signed AE.TRAVEALLIANCE from Abu Dhabi. If you want to be scammed please buy from them. They trick you with a fake email and confirmation number. When you call them the same lady picks up the phone pretending she's talking to the manager and she tells you that you have no booking under this number. I'll report them to BBB.

Bait and Switch

I reserved a roundtrip flight and received the confirmation email. The next monring I had a ton of Voicemails asking me to call them. When I called, first the numbers they called from would not connect, and just hang up. I finally got the number off the site and called. My return flight wasn't available so I had to pick a new flight. Of course the new reservation wpould be $200-600 more, and I couldn't cancell my reservation. So my choices were lose all my money, or get a new reservation at about $250 extra. And, I couldn't keep my original departure flight. DON"T USE THEM!

On 10/12/24 I purchased two one way tickets from from west Palm Beach Florida to Philadelphia. As I'm checking in , she asked for me for confirmation number, there wasn't any. The thing they gave me was the agency confirmed number. Then the she said to us there's nothing in her system for me and my wife. The number they post to call if there's any problems, was a none working number. So be careful because are scammers they're not real and there's not credited by the better business bureau. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM.. I HAVE TO BUY A NEW SETS FROM TICKETS.

Save yourself the money and the headaches

I feel the agency gets customers in scams for tickets on very good deal, then they call you telling you all the restrictions on these special tickets, so many restrictions you can't use them. That's what happened to me. Michelle and Jim sounded very helpful on the phone, I ended up getting other, more expensive tickets, but the first charge is still pending in my credit card. I can't get an answer about wha the hold up is. After all the calls and headaches from this agency, I'm still afraid the scam is still going. I'd advise anyone against using this agency!

Unethical Practice by Tarifasodeals

Tariasodeal has not yet refunded my credit card for the original sum of $106,695.36. I need this amount to be refunded. The company has practised a classic case of bait-and-switch tactics. They advertised a low fare on their website, and when you select this fare, they charge your credit card, but then call to try to tell you that the price of the flight (you just selected on their website) has increased, and you need to pay more for another flight. This is a disingenuous and predatory practice by the company. I require a refund of that amount

Worst experience i've had with a flight booking company. They promised me 2 seats right next to eachother for me and my wife. They even forced me to "upgrade" to ensure we got proper seat selection. When the time came to confirm seat selection, they blew me off every time I called. They would say "sir if we promised to upgraded seats with seat selection then we will honor it." they never honored it, no one ever called me back after i was told easily 6 times i'd get a call back. Im so angry with this company. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, RUN.

What a scam

I purchased tickets for Atlanta, round trip from Montana. I looked several times at the listing before I purchased them; I received a confirmation email that said the ticket was pending; after all night, I called the company and was told that the return ticket was standby only, he said all this was explained on the site (which I never saw, even after looking again. I was told I cannot cancel the flight, however after over 30 minutes on the phone, including being on hold, I called my credit card company and cancelled the flight.
