I booked a train from Leuven to Utrecht on 10/06/2025, but the trip was cancelled between Antwerp and Amsterdam Zuid because of a strike in Amsterdam. I had to buy another ticket for the whole journey by any allowed route, which cost nearly the same as my original ticket bought via Omio. I contacted an agent using the Omio app. They are working on giving me a refund.

Initially, dealing with the company was a lengthy and annoying process, as I had to send messages to an unresponsive Bot and get nowhere. I appreciate Omio for eventually connecting me with a real person who solved my straightforward problem in just two minutes. There's truly no substitute for a person who listens and understands the issue right away.

The ordering process was simple

The ordering process was simple, just like with most companies. When I had to cancel my trips, the service was great. There were no delays or long waiting times. They kept me updated, and the refund was processed in just a few days. Plus, I received ‘personal’ emails that made me feel valued as a customer. I will surely use Omio again.

It took just 10 minutes from the time I started to when everything was finished. They even provided me with a discount code for my next booking. Wonderful company. Definitely recommended.

The company did a great job assisting me when my bag got lost on my flight to Spain. I had to change my bus tickets and was quickly connected with an agent. Iva helped me reschedule for a different day and answered my questions. Iva's help was much appreciated.

Sold us fake tickets

We purchased two train tickets. The first existed, but we did not have seats (the train operator said the cabin Omio gave us tickets for did not exist). The second train did not exist at all. I have been reaching out to customer service for 7 days with no response. Since we booked several months ago we can’t dispute the transaction so they successfully stole our money…

My experience with this company

My experience with this company was disappointing. Initially, I thought I got a good price for my booking, but then they asked for an additional £340. When I questioned this, they increased the amount to £520, even though I had already paid £165. The staff were unhelpful and dishonest, and the booking site was a waste of time.
