Never received - Won’t answer emails or refund
I purchased four pairs of contacts for $60 with Coleyes, then an additional $15 for me to correct THEIR MISTAKE and it’s been a NIGHTMARE!
I currently have SIXTEEN emails between myself and Coleyes trying to resolve the issues and as of yesterday, after not receiving the contacts, they gave me the USPS tracking number and told me it was MY RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND THE MISSING CONTACTS! As EXCUSE ME?!?
I started this venture with them by sending them photos of my natural eyes, photos of what I wanted, and asking them to recommend what colors to buy. They suggest three colors, so I purchased them. Waited SIX WEEKS for them to arrive, but their shipping was supposed to be based out of Illinois. First red flag! But by then, they had my money and the reviews seemed positive.
When they finally arrived, the colors were so awful, that I only placed one contact in, and left the other sealed, because if they had to be returned, their website tells you what to do. I immediately reach out to them and tell them I was dissatisfied and sent photos. One set was the exact same color as my God given eyes! They refused a refund or any solution whatsoever. But as I pointed out to them….THEY are the ones that chose tho colors! Long story short, I agreed to pay an additional $15 for shipping, and they would send replacements in different colors.
ANOTHER month goes by. I’m following the tracking, and notice that although the tracking originated in Illinois, they were coming from China! That was never disclosed. No wonder it took six weeks!
They then traveled to the US, where they were bounced around to different areas in the state I live in, but no city anywhere NEAR where I live. Then….the tracking stopped.
I reached out to both Coleyes and USPS on May 20th. Coleyes had the AUDACITY to tell me via email, that it was MY RESPONSIBILITY to find them, and now they are not responding to my emails.
The USPS said the package was ‘undeliverable’ and they sent it back to China! Which means Coleyes did not address the package correctly. But they want ME to fix that?!? UNACCEPTABLE!
Absolute nightmare! And it’s all in writing. Thank God!
It’s a holiday weekend and my bank is closed, so I will be disputing the charges come Tuesday.
$75 dollars and countless hours spent trying to resolve the issue may not seem like a lot to some people. But I actually had to save up to buy these. These companies are making billions off of us!
