The service provided a decent experience, but I faced challenges seeking additional support for the approval process. Unfortunately, my efforts resulted in a futile waste of time and energy, accompanied by an unnecessary impact on my credit score. Despite their self-promotion, my distant request remained unfulfilled, leaving me with a sense of frustration and disappointment.

I've recently started working with Car Gurus. My experience has been nothing but amazing! I had one dealership protect me from buy a car that my daughter wanted. They gain my trust as a business at that point.

Very useful website with a big selection

Very useful website with a big selection and good tools to help you locate the right car or check which dealers have the options you need, especially if you’re choosy like me. The only annoying thing is their email updates. My saved search is very specific about the colors I want, but they still send me all new listings for the make and model I’m looking at. They should be able to leave out the ones I clearly said I don’t want. Still, an awesome site that helped me get my car!

Car Gurus, they're spot-on with keeping car prices up to date, but you know what would make them even better? Having some physical centers you can actually visit, and maybe throwing in their very own shipping service. That way, you could start and finish the whole car-buying deal right there with Car Gurus, no third parties needed.

Dean at CarGurus was nice and supportive. Even though he didn’t have info on my state’s (Colorado) green vehicle incentives, he reached out to Felicia at a faraway dealership with the car I wanted. My weak cell service made texting hard, but once my email was shared, I was able to connect with the sales agent.

Dis brach of Cargurus, Palm Auto Sales in Palm Beach County FL, was aight. Da guy I dealt wit was real pro n' nice. My prob was da price keep changin in da ads. Da car I wanted wuz 4800 on Craigslist, den jumped to 5800 da nex day n' 5700 on anotha site. Dey gave me a clean Carfax tho. I really liked da car, but da A/C was busted. I offered 4800, willing to go to 5000, n' fix da A/C myself. It wuz an old car, 2011, wit lotsa miles, but da brand was solid. Dude said dey couldn't drop da price no mo'. Communication wuz good, he wuz cool, but ya gotta watch out. Didn't match da CarGurus ads vibe.

I was supposedly "pre-qualified"

I was supposedly "pre-qualified" for financing however nothing I've tried to make a deal on has gone thru. I feel like the "pre-qualification" is a waste of time and it set to just get your hopes up for something that's not going to happen. They state that work with bad or poor credit which has been untrue in my case. They merely try to play middle man and from my experience know no more information than I know from the listing posted

Avoid this company at all costs. Getting even a small service done here will drag on for two whole days. They're always too busy, make big promises, and then fail to follow through. The staff have a bad attitude, the service is poor, and the management is a mess. And don't even think about changing any parts on your car if you're already tied into a contract with them. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear.
