Made a half assed website and published without authorization. do NOT Give them your card #!

Made us a webaite and the deal was that we would review it, approve the website or make changes THEN publish and possibly host with simple.biz once we were happy with the website. A guy called me on the phone several times. Often while I was driving in Manhattan, NY. It was annoying actually but I did need a website and he accepted the deal that if I didn't like it he would refund the money. Several weeks, then months passed and I forgot about it. Then one day i was told there were 2 websites with our company name! One was just our doman name with a "dash" inserted. I had no idea what this was! So simple.biz was so hungry for our money that they published the website without our consent and chose the domain name, then had the website hosted! We complained to the hosting company. The company sided with us and suspended the domain and website. Funny but suddenly simple.biz suddenly had found the time to contact us! I decdide to give them a chance but was busy so I told them to put things on hold until we had time. It might be weeks. But no...they began charging monthly on our credit card for "hosting" or whatever. The thing is that the website was offline! We never agreed to recurring charges or any hosting plan. Typical 3rd worlders cannot be trusted with your credit card or bank info. When I finally had enough of annoying calls and emails I told them to forget the whole thing. So then they charged my credit card like 4 more times in 1 week. Simple.biz gives web developers and hosting companies a bad name.

Avoid at All Costs – Scam Operation This company must be writing its own reviews to keep that 5-star rating, because our experience has been a nightmare. We hired them 18 months ago to build a website, and what they delivered was nothing more than a slapped-together mess — full of copy-pasted content from our competitors. When we asked for revisions, our point of contact “left the company,” and we were completely ghosted. After months of trying, we finally reached someone — only to find out it was the same person we originally worked with, now using a different name and email. He admitted this to us. Since then, we’ve been trying to cancel the service, but the phone number they provide doesn’t even work and daily emails go unanswered. Total runaround. They’ve charged my card $3,400 and have done absolutely nothing of value. I’ve had to place a stop payment to prevent further theft. This company is 100% a scam — deceptive, unprofessional, and completely unaccountable. Stay far away.

Broken promises & Lies is what received. [1] Promised to drive business inquiries to our site = FAILED. [2] Promised to fix and make the djjeff.com website better = BETRAYED. Instead they bought wwwDOT1AwesomeDJDOTnet without our permission or knowledge. And put up a website which was amateurish. [3] We received no inquiries or leads for almost 7 months. Told Simplr.biz to suspend payments in April. Never happened. [4] finally 7-7-24 I get a call from Ryan. Says the account is closed. ..... But I told him if they have integrity they would put the domain www DOT1AwesomeDJDOTnet in my name. ..... DOUBT it will happen.

Incredibly unprofessional experience

Incredibly unprofessional experience overall. While the initial call was acceptable, the entire process revealed a lack of professionalism. It seems their focus is on quantity over quality, neglecting individual client needs. Ultimately, this ranks as one of the least professional businesses I've encountered.
