    I got Tyrvaya from PhilRx last year

    I got Tyrvaya from PhilRx last year for $89 for a month's worth. But this year, they said it's not available at that price anymore. The manufacturer insists it is, but PhilRx disagrees. They wanted to charge me $468.51 in February, then said they couldn't process it through my insurance in March. The mixed messages from PhilRx are worrying. It's unclear if it's the fault of the Tyrvaya maker or PhilRx, but they need to sort this out and give customers the right info.

    Warning - do not use this company

    On 12/29/24 PhilRx originally quoted me a $95 co-pay on a 6-month prescription for Tyrvaya. In early January I approved the initial order and a $520 payment which I thought covered the co-pay for the entire 6 months. When my first refill was due they billed me an additional $100 which I also foolishly paid. When my next refill was due they were charging me an additional $100. I then contacted customer service. They claimed that my insurance company had increased my initial co-pay from $95 to $520 for one dose. PhilRx NEVER notified me of this change and then stated that the original quote was in 2024 and my first order was in 2025 so it didn't carry over to the next year. Their quote came on 12/29/24 leaving only 3 days left in the year so it is completely reasonable that my first order request was sent in January 2025. I have tried to work with them via phone. Their customer service escalation rep verbally agreed with me on the phone and was going to work on getting me a refund but when her written reply came they denied my claim. I feel that I am responsible for $190 and that they should reimburse me $430 for the overcharge and the fact that I was NEVER notified of any price increase. I have tried to work with them but they have made no effort to reconcile. In addition the medication, Tyrvaya did NOT work at all for my dry eye. It did, however, provide me with every side effect listed including sneezing, coughing and a sore throat. Terrible, unscrupulous company. Plenty of lip service but that's about it.

    I would leave a minus 10 stars review if that was an option.

    My eye doctor ordered a prescription for eye drops on May 16, 2025. He didn't tell me the name of it. After PhilRX sent me the same email several days in a row, I became frustrated and sent them an email asking about it. They said my RX was on its way. I recieved a package on May 27, 2025 (so 11 days after prescribed. The package did not contain the 90 day 6 bottles of eye drops that I had prepaid $165.00 for. It contained one bottle of an inexpensive non prescription eye drop. Since I didn't know the name of the one my doctor had prescribed, I assumed this was correct and expected more bottles to come in the mail. They did not. On July 22, I contacted them to ask about this. They denied sending me the wrong eye drop and claim their pharmacy does not dispense the one I got. I spoke with them several times about this. I had to explain everything over from the beginning each time. On July 28, I spoke to Honey, who said they would refund my $165.00. On August 1, she called to say they would not refund my money. She used the excuse that it was against federal regulations. That is not right. So I am just out $165.00. What? Also, they don't even have the correct name of my eye doctor. I am so very disappointed with their service as a pharmacy as well as customer service. They are a dishonest bait and switch disaster. I will not be ordering from them again.

    Terrible Customer Service

    Terrible customer service. They refilled my Rx without me requesting it. They sent me a text notifying me that its being refilled sent it after hours, I responded the following morning and was told I could return the unused medication because it had already been shipped, however, if I return it, they will no longer service the prescription. I was also told they automatically enroll all clients in auto renew and if I did not want that I would have to request it. I asked for a signed copy (of which they told me they had) of me agreeing for them to auto refill my prescription. They sent me a copy of their policy, but I had never seen it and of course it was not signed. Well good riddance after speaking to the Cequa corporate office (****) they informed me that I could use any pharmacy in the country. They are sending me a copy of my Co-Pay assistance card, and the prescription will cost me exactly the same a Walgreens. For a prescription that sells for over 2 thousand dollars you would think they would be a little nicer. From here on out I'll do business with the same company that services all my other pharmacy needs.

    Oh man, diving into the Phil

    Oh man, diving into the Phil prescription saga was like stepping into a weird twilight zone. So, here's the lowdown – got stuck with Cequa, a dry eye drop that felt like literal fire in my eyes. The only way to get it was through Phil, and that was my only ticket. Here's the kicker – they sneak you into this auto-refill game without asking. Like, come on! Opt-in, opt-out, who cares, right? But nope, they decide for you. Miss a text or email, and bam! Surprise refill at your doorstep, and your wallet's crying. Then I stumbled on Phil's website and uncovered their little dance with drug brands. Something about helping them reach their "full commercial potential." Smells fishy, right? Feels like my doc's in cahoots with Phil and Cequa. Ugh, I miss my local pharmacist. This whole thing feels like a sketchy soap opera.

    HORRIBLE

    They not only took a week to review the prescription from my doctor, then proceeded to fill the medication from a town over 2nd Day Air, took them 7 days to deliver, and the ice pack to keep it cool melted all over the bottle. Since the medication has to stay cold they told me it is no longer usable. They then expedited me a new bottle, but that was a joke, because it was 2nd Day Air and still arrived 6 days later, except no ice packs this time, so hotter than it was before. The team continually puts you in a round robin to get your money back from them. Absolutely the worst pharmacy company I have ever experienced.

    Poor execution and communication

    Unfortunately there seems to be little internal communication. My auto refill came up in June, still waiting on product. (3+ weeks later). I was finally charged the co-pay only to have to returned a week later with of course, no explanation. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking there was an MFR issue but alas, I called my local grocery chain, they got it in the next day and I used GoodRx. It may well be that they perform well for other programs but definitely not for the one I used them for.

    Horrible

    They are completely useless. My doctor sent over my prescription 3 times the past two weeks. PhilRx said they haven’t received my prescription. My doctor’s office has confirmation by fax and electronic prescription. By the way, within 2 hours, my doctor sent the same prescription to my local pharmacy, the pharmacy fill the prescription, and I was able to pick it up. What PhilRx could not do in 2 weeks, my local HEB pharmacy could do in 2 hours.

    If I could give them 0 or -5 I would. After giving them my personal information, they let me know they could not fill my rx and ask me where they could transfer the rx to. I told them and they have still not transferred it after more than a week. Totally incompetent.
