Be prepared to fight for a refund, even when the item is defective

I am currently in the middle of a return with MISSACC and wanted to share my experience so far, as it may help other customers set expectations. I ordered a dress that arrived with construction issues, including a seam separating and decorative elements coming loose. These issues were present upon arrival and documented immediately with photos. MISSACC’s published return policy states that damaged or defective items are eligible for a full refund, including shipping. However, despite reporting the issue promptly, I experienced repeated attempts to reframe the defects as “expectations,” along with multiple offers of partial refunds and deductions that did not align with the written policy. Resolution only began progressing after firm, persistent communication and referencing the policy directly. A return label has now been arranged, and the refund is in progress, but the process required far more back-and-forth than I would expect for a clearly defective item. To be fair, customer service has remained polite throughout, but others considering should be aware that returns for defects may require persistence, careful documentation, and patience to reach an almost-policy-consistent outcome. I will update this review once the return and refund are fully completed.

Poor Quality. Exorbitant Postage Fee &No refund system

This company is the worst I've dealt with EVER! Firstly, the dresses are cheaply made and of extremely poor quality. I paid $190 for a dress that was not even worth $20! Plus postage of $40, so in total $230. The dress was horrible! I asked them if i can return and get a refund and that's when the nightmare started. They were refusing and asking me to please keep the dress and they will give me a voucher of $50 to spend on another dress. I told them I didn't want another dress ever from them! Their dresses are just nasty. Don't waste your time. Trust me when I say this. Those reviews that are good are from them. I don't believe they are genuine reviews. Their dresses are just awful. I was buying it for a wedding and what a nightmare to deal with these jokers. Trust me this is the worst buy I've had ever. Absolute rubbish. How they are getting away with this is what has me stumped? How? Stay well away from this company. Scammers! They just take take take.

I ordered a dress for my son's wedding, thinking it'd be perfect. When it arrived, the color was off and it didn't fit - way too small. I reached out to missacc via email. They initially offered me £30 back plus a discount voucher, but the dress cost me £135. I insisted on a full refund since the dress wasn't right. After much back-and-forth, I ended up keeping the dress, got £55 back, and a 30% discount on another item. Their sizing is based on US sizes, so my size 18 was actually an American 14, which is two sizes smaller. The quality of the dress is great, but beware of their sizing. The return policy was really frustrating and expensive, so I had to settle with what they offered. Now, I'll try to sell the dress to cover my losses. Only giving 1 star because of the return hassle, though the dress itself is lovely. I might have ordered again if I got a full refund.

This was honestly the worst

This was honestly the worst shopping experience ever. Bought a wedding dress for £160, used Clearpay for the first time. I thought Clearpay pays the full amount and I just continue with my installments, right? So, I get this dress and it's absolutely terrible. It looked like a white trash bag with some rhinestones, and had blue pen marks all over it. I started the refund process immediately and found out you have to contact them for a refund (huge red flag). After days of emailing, they finally replied and refused to give me a full refund. They only offered £80 back, which was what I had paid so far. After weeks of back and forth, I settled for £60 just to end the nightmare, but it goes to Clearpay. So frustrating, still chasing my money after almost a month! Avoid this company at all costs.

HORRIBLE SCAM COMPANY

I purchased a dress from Missacc for a wedding and it came poorly made and smelled terrible. I emailed and requested a FULL refund because I was within the 14 day return policy and still keep getting the run around. First it was why do you want to return then it was can you send us pictures. After a few days go by they email again with proposals of what they can offer which does not include a FULL refund. This is RIDICULOUS!!! $168 that I will not get back. If you are looking for a dress DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY because you WILL NOT get your FULL refund back even if you are within the 14 day window. Please spread the word for others so that they don’t have to deal with this terrible company!!

Purchased two dresses. Neither one fit, measurements were off and neither one looked like their advertised picture. This is clearly false and deceptive advertising. Both dresses that arrived were made of very shiny costume satin, not even close to their pictures. They declined a return and refund. They send me an email stating that they would do the return if I took down my negative reviews and paid for original shipping costs. I declined. I spent over two hundred dollars. Why are these thieves allowed to do business in the U.S.? There are thousands of similar reviews - just wish I read them before purchasing this trash. Where is the consumer protection??

Missacc is a scam! Don’t buy from them.

They sent me a wedding dress that is ripping off at the bottom. They are now refusing return even though their website states that return is available within 14 days of arrival. I contacted them on the day I received the dress. It was not a customised product- standard sizing. They are offering 25€ to repair it myself! Quality is scandalous- very cheap fabric, irritating skin. The dress looks nothing like on the website. Communication with customer service is only via email and return is impossible. Don’t ever buy from Missacc! They will just add stress to your already stressful wedding day.

Ordered a dress, and wow, what a letdown. It looked so cheap and flimsy in person. I’m usually a size 12, so I went with a size 14 just to be safe. Nope, didn’t zip up at all—way too small. Their site promises “easy hassle-free 14-day returns,” but that’s a joke. Tried to return it, and all I got was endless excuses. If they do offer anything, it's peanuts. Beware, folks. Stick to reputable retailers. You might get lucky with a good fit, but if you're not satisfied, you're out of luck. Spent $168 and still no dress to wear. Total waste.
