The incessant pop-up notifications

The incessant pop-up notifications during my child's lessons are incredibly disruptive and annoying. It would be helpful if there were a way to silence or disable them. Despite this issue, we are enjoying the curriculums provided.

This is by far the worst online homeschool curriculum! I looked and looked and tried and tried to find something that had all the things. Somehow I stumbled upon Miacademy. It was one of the worst homeschool decisions we’ve ever made! It has nothing all rolled into one. It is horrible! My daughter’s reading, math, and all skills, have declined significantly. She dislikes interacting with her friends in their unsafe moderated environment. We regret it so much that we canceled our memberships of both Miacademy and MiaPrep! I already know we will not be using their curriculum for high school too! I hate that they are constantly removing and worsening the classes. It’s the absolute worst!

We started off with a trial month of Miacademy and it's been fantastic! It's very user-friendly with the ability to customize, set minimum scores, and control access to the My World feature. My children look forward to getting to My World, which is a great motivator. Updating the daily lessons is a breeze with its automated system for assigning and reassigning depending on the frequency you set up. Furthermore, their customer service is outstanding - their replies are prompt and their assistance is unrivalled. We are now satisfied with the quality of Miacademy enough to make it our year-long homeschool curriculum!

What I really like about Miacademy is how their curriculum can be changed to fit the needs of all learners, whether they have special learning needs or are neurotypical. They do a great job of making the program open for everyone. We used T4L before, which was easy to use, but my kids thought it was old and childish. Miacademy feels fresh and interesting. The teachers are also a big plus! Their customer service is nice, quick, and makes you feel like you belong. Don't miss out on their Facebook group—it's something different from any other company.

We began with Miacademy’s trial month and it’s been great so far! The kids enjoy it and I do too, as it’s easy to adjust, set quiz scores, and block the My World feature until lessons are done. My kids are excited about My World; it’s a big motivator for them. I like how Miacademy sets and adjusts daily lessons automatically based on your schedule. It’s really user-friendly, and the customer service is awesome! They respond quickly and provide great help. We’re now planning to use Miacademy for our full year of homeschooling!

Big shoutout to this company for having both the chat and ticket options. The ticket thing is awesome for keeping me in the loop on how they're tackling my issues. Luckily, this time around, it was a quick fix and I didn't need the ticket, but knowing it's there is a game-changer. The team members I chatted with were on fire – speedy and knew their stuff. Not only did they sort out my problem on the spot, but they also handed me some DIY steps in case it decides to act up again. Props to them!

This is Hayden’s first year and first week of Homeschooling. It has been wonderful with Miacademy. He enjoys everything about it. He has a Boy Scout friend who comes to our house and they study together, which makes it more fun and engaging! We are very happy we found this program! Excited for a great year of learning with many more to come.

Easy for my kids and me to use. The videos were brief and clear. I wish Mia sold the workbooks herself, not only on Amazon. At times, printing is hard to manage, and kids struggle to fill blanks on the PDF. I think PDFs are needed for a complete course. Math workbooks or extra practice would be nice too.

My daughter really likes the learning experience. She loves the video classes, especially her favorite instructors. The lessons connect nicely to each other. She enjoys feeling accomplished. The parent section is very useful! I can track all her progress. I like being able to give her coins as rewards!

The teachers and staff at this place are just awesome! Super quick to jump in and help whenever we're stuck or confused. It's our first year diving into classes like this, and our kids are eating it up. Big shoutout to the team for holding our hands through every step of the way.

I’m really happy with this company! My little one just began, and it’s amazing! She’s really into the lessons, and it’s making my work-from-home days smoother. She’s quickly learning to do things by herself. I’m glad a friend recommended this, and I had to spread the news!

I really like how the company offers a curriculum that allows you to adjust between different grade levels to fit your child's needs. It's great that if your child reads at a 3rd grade level but is only in 1st grade, they still feel confident.

My kids enjoy Miacademy a lot. One thing that could be better is the way billing works when you have more than one kid. You gotta make a different account for each one, which feels like extra work. It would make more sense if the parent account could handle all the kids in one place, but still let each kid have their own login and pasword. Changing or canceling stuff for each kid one by one gets old fast. Also, it would help if Miacademy had some kind of starting test in Math and Language Arts, so kids could be placed where they need help and move forward where they do good. Besides that, Miacademy works well and my children realy like it.

Our kids have really enjoyed Miacademy and th e quality of their teaching videos has been great. However, the website has had some issues and it could be beneficial for parents and students to have a full tutorial. The good news is that Miacademy seems to be open to improving th eir courses, service and website on an ongoing basis, and tis has put them ahead of sites like Time 4 Learning and Power Homeschool.

The course is very good. Whenever I have questions or concerns, there is always a person ready to help and solve the problem. There are many guides available to assist with answers as well.

I joined this company thinking it was a free service, only to discover they charged my account for a full year without any prior notice of the cost. Throughout my usage, there was no communication about charges until a year later when I noticed the deduction. Their customer service lacked empathy and offered minimal assistance, refusing to refund more than one month. I'm dissatisfied and regretful. I cannot recommend this service, even if it were free. Save your money elsewhere; it's not worth the frustration.

I've reviewed my son's work, and it's riddled with errors. He's feeling like a failure because of these inaccuracies. I'm a coder myself, and this so-called "coding" is far from correct. If you're reading this, consider finding a more effective homeschooling program.
