    I was really enjoying the

    I was really enjoying the service, but things took a turn when I had to cancel. I canceled before they charged me, but they still won't give me a refund. Tried reaching out but couldn’t get hold of anyone, which was super frustrating. Customer service is definitely lacking when you need to talk to a real person. Luckily, after posting a review, they finally started fixing the issue. It’s annoying that I had to go public to get their attention, but at least they’re addressing it now. Overall, I liked the service, just wish the cancellation process and customer support were better.

    I've been dealing with anxiety and depression for a while, and low dosage ketamine really helped me get through it. The doctor I saw was incredibly kind and supportive, which made the process easier. But there was a big issue with my HSA card being declined. At first, I was told the problem was with my card. After many frustrating calls to my HSA account office, I found out it wasn't their fault. Turns out, the clinic's card reader couldn't process HSA cards anymore. They promised it would be fixed in a few months, but now it's been six months and nothing's changed. I asked to speak to a supervisor several times, but no one responds. Their prices are good, which is why I haven't left yet, but this card issue is really annoying.

    This company is strange. They bombard you with texts and emails just for an appointment, like 6 texts and 3 emails. They told me I was a great candidate for treatment, but then I never heard back. When I followed up, they said I was denied. Would have been better to get feedback right away. Feels really fake. Heard before that their quality is inconsistent and you get what you pay for (it’s the cheapest for a reason), but experiencing it firsthand, I’m not impressed. The whole process just seemed off. Not what I expected at all.

    I’m Deb and I had

    I’m Deb and I had an awful experience with Joyous. I reached out to them before Christmas, explaining my struggle with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The Nurse Practitioner assured me I'd be a great fit for their program and mentioned a veteran discount. I live in Florida but was moving to North Carolina soon. She didn't seem concerned about this. After moving to NC, I started the treatment and felt some relief. But then, during a follow-up, the practitioner realized she couldn't prescribe in NC. They asked how I wanted to proceed, but what was I supposed to say? They charged me $129 twice, never applied my veteran discount, and even after I asked to cancel, they sent confusing messages. As a Nurse Practitioner myself, I’m appalled at their lack of care and communication. This isn't patient-centered care. Avoid Joyous at all costs. I’m demanding a full refund.

    I had a frustrating experience with Joyous. I called them just to learn more about Ketamine treatment and ask some basic questions. The health counselor treated it like a full intake appointment, and by the end of our 15-minute chat, he said he'd write a prescription for Ketamine. He mentioned I didn't have to pick it up if I wasn't sure. I thought that was the end of it until I had an appointment with a state mental health organization. When they checked the national registry for controlled substances, they saw the Ketamine prescription. Because of that, they couldn't prescribe me any other medications, including the ones I was already taking. Now, I'm stuck. I never intended to start Ketamine therapy right away and was just exploring options, but now my original treatment plan is disrupted. It’s a mess and feels really unfair.

    I went to Joyous with high hopes, but my experience was far from positive. A friend suggested them, as we both struggle with PTSD and depression. Given their name, I expected compassionate care. Instead, I felt judged and blamed by my therapist, Brooke Fisher, from our very first meeting. It's baffling that a medical care provider can operate this way. If you don't genuinely care about your patients, why are you even in this field? It felt like they were more interested in making money than in actually helping people. My time with Joyous left me feeling worse, not better. If you're considering them, beware. Thankfully, I've found better support elsewhere, like MindBloom and BetterU. Avoid Joyous at all costs.

    Alright, so here's the deal. I had this 3-week check-in with my clinician, hoping to hear when I'd start feeling better with my depression. She tells me it's about working through my issues, but I've got a chemical imbalance, so how am I supposed to do that? I've been in therapy for ages, and this isn't a "fix-yourself" kind of thing. The meds were helping my anxiety, but then they lowered the dose without telling me why. I reached out a few times, and they said I was messaging too much. Really? Just answer my question! And get this, they wanted me to toss my meds after canceling my subscription. I just refilled them! It's ridiculous. I paid for it, so I'm taking it. Done with them.

    Pretty rough time with Joyous

    Wow, just had a pretty rough time with Joyous. They kicked me out of their program claiming I filled a prescription for a narcotic, which was totally a mistake. Showed them proof I didn’t fill it but they still terminated my care. And Dr. Perkowski, honestly, was super rude about it. I did everything we discussed during the initial consult and suddenly I'm out? Customer service was no help either, no phone number to actually talk to someone, which made things way worse. If I could have just talked to a real person, maybe this mess could’ve been avoided. There are other options for ketamine therapy, so unless they fix their mistake, I’m not recommending them to anyone.

    I tried Joyous for the first time and they prescribed me some meds, which was fine until they decided to stop after three months because I was on Suboxone. My family doctor was totally supportive of ketamine treatment and there were no real issues with it. I had to go through two months of withdrawal just to be accepted again, which was rough. Even after paying off all balances, they used a diluted product and refused to ship my meds because my ID was about to expire. It’s frustrating how a piece of plastic can have such an impact on mental health treatment. I had to stop two other medications for Joyous, and now I'm left with nothing. I’m not coming back.

    Bad experience so far

    Sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half, and my provider never showed up. Tried texting Joyous several times but got no response. Pretty bummed out about it. Had to schedule another appointment for next week, but there’s no option to pick a different provider. Why would I want to see the same person who didn't bother to show up the first time? This whole thing is really frustrating. If you have other options, go somewhere else. Joyous is all I can afford right now, so I’m stuck with them, but seriously, it's been a bad experience so far.

    I was really hoping for

    I was really hoping for a smooth experience, but it turned into a nightmare. After getting my meds filled the first time, it took over two weeks to get them the next month. Now, I'm waiting again this month. My nurse practitioner was great, but everyone else? Not so much. The meds work, but the service is just awful. They seem more interested in taking payments than actually helping patients. If only they were as quick with scripts as they are with billing, it would make this whole process a lot easier. Sadly, that's not how it goes here.

    I can't believe how frustrating

    I can't believe how frustrating this has been. I ordered meds online and they never showed up. Tried to reach customer service, but only got a bot. It told me to file a police report and a USPS claim, then send them the documents. So now, not only am I out the money, but I also have to deal with extra paperwork. And to make matters worse, cancelling is a nightmare. They keep charging my card and refuse to cancel my subscription until I jump through all their hoops. Seriously, stay away from this service. It's a total scam.

    Horrible company

    The care was terrible and you will never see the same person more than once, I’m guessing the providers quit often! The medication will either never arrive or arrive completely melted and leaking through the packaging. They will send you random messages on mistake and also eject you on mistake multiple times. They will never apologize or make up these mistakes either! Absolutely horrible! Do NOT waste your money, go to mind bloom., much better and reliable company, than the joke Joyous is!

    Drug dealers

    They ship KETAMINE after a 5 minute consultation, my daughter is recovering from Ketamine addiction, and it was ONLY supposed to go to me so I could control it, keep it in a safe and hand out daily but they sent it to another address for her and she ended up in the hospital! Also it is left in a mailbox for anyone to open, and it looks and smells like candy mints - I have young children in the house and they could have easily opened it. This company needs to be investigated by the DEA

    You won't believe the mess I went through with this company. I never signed up for any subscription, yet they kept charging me for five months straight. I only talked to them once and received just a 30-day supply. No services provided for all those months, just charges piling up. It's like they took my money and disappeared.     I was super frustrated

    I had a super frustrating experience with the PA during the initial screening call. She acted so full of herself, like I was supposed to magically know all the answers beforehand. Isn't she there to help out with my questions? Felt like she was more interested in showing off. And when I accidentally said "edible" instead of another word, she made such a big deal out of it. Not cool. The whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth. Customer service here needs a serious overhaul.

    Poor Product Quality, customer service nonexistant.

    After taking 60 mg for 5 days I had an severe reaction. Unable to move feeling paralyzed and unable to remove undesolved portion. It took 5 days for anyone to return texts, including a nurse. Having at least 14 60mg torches left I was assured no product would be sent until supplies were low. They shipped and charged me anyways.

    This company is a complete and total nuisance

    I started the therapy I believe in January was canceled by February by them and now it's the end of May and every month I've been on the phone with my bank trying to dispute the transaction that they keep taking out of my bank account. I strongly recommend that you do not interact with this company nothing but a problem

    Horrible customer service

    I would have to say that they have the worst customer service. They make it almost impossible to cancel their membership and charge you an extra month prior or after to make the most money off of you. Their business ethics is very questionable and I highly recommend trying another service like mindbloom instead.
