I've been using InMotionHosting for over 10 years, hosting multiple sites. Their customer service and tech support has always been very good! I have some knowledge of website creation, but IMH tech support has saved me many times from errors. They explain things in a clear, simple way and often fix issues beyond my skill level. However, I would not suggest letting IMH handle domain transfers to a new account. I would have been better off learning how to do it myself. My recent experience with this was a mess. Websites were not redirected properly, and one was completely lost. Despite this, their tech support and sales are so good, I’d still rate them higher than 5 stars.

For over 20 years, they've been one of the best deals I've come across. They've always been respectful of my limited tech knowledge, letting me smoothly add remote server access to my work. I really appreciate the ample bandwidth they've offered all this time – always ahead of what I need. And lastly, they provide server access at a fair price without any tricky or misleading business moves.

I submitted a ticket to Tech Support 46 hours ago, asking them to perform the promised "Free cPanel Backup import" for a smooth setup. Unfortunately, all I've received so far is the standard acknowledgment of my request. Considering they claim to offer support "365 24/7," waiting this long feels excessively lengthy. While I anticipate the hosting service itself to be satisfactory once I'm finally set up, the delay in getting assistance is making me rethink my decision. It seems like navigating the process without needing support might be the key challenge here.

It feels like the customer service experience has declined, leaving users with billing concerns and struggling to resolve issues efficiently.

I've had a really poor experience with this hosting service. It's not recommended, especially if you're considering hosting a Node.js website. The server doesn't respond properly, and when you bring it up with them, they just brush it off, claiming it's not their issue. I'm unsure about how their business is doing in 2024.
