Honestly, I didn't realize Giftly operated online. I sought a visually appealing email gift card with a specific message. The card's front met my expectations—stylish and straightforward.

It was really easy to find

It was really easy to find what I was looking for to give. The only thing is, I printed my gift cards to give, but it takes too long to get the funds.

Gift cards couldn't be used in the stores they were meant for.

Gift cards couldn't be used in the stores they were meant for. I needed a younger person to assist with both gift cards and go online to figure out how they worked. In the end, the amounts on the gift cards were transferred into their accounts, which was done. These cards were meant for older people, but I won’t be using them again as it’s too confusing for them to figure out how to use them.

My experience with the company left me disappointed. I expected gift cards with a specific monetary value, but instead, it turned out to be a deposit into a bank account. To make matters worse, one card had an unexpected usage fee, not disclosed on the website.

Received an email notifying my son about a restaurant gift card for his birthday. The timing was impeccable; otherwise, he might have dismissed it as spam. While the surprise element was appreciated, the overall experience left much to be desired.

I shouldn't have to pay extra for a message card to be added. There was no way to choose not to include a card. The $7 processing fee should cover a message without any additional charge!

I didn't like the small preview screen

I didn't like the small preview screen for the card. I'd prefer to see a full picture of what I sent as the note, not just a small image that I can't zoom into.

I recently experienced challenges with Giftly when sending an e-gift to my sister-in-law in Canada. An initial error with the email address caused stress in canceling, as it falsely showed delivered. The replacement restaurant card turned out to be a generic "money" card, disappointing the recipient who expected a specific experience at BIG FISH in Sarnia. This ordeal led to frustration, and I've decided not to use Giftly again.

Regrettably, the experience was less than satisfactory. The process of accessing the gift card proved to be cumbersome and, frankly, somewhat invasive with unnecessary data collection. A direct gift card from the venue would have been far preferable. Reconsidering future purchases with Gift.ly due to the confusing registration hoops my father had to navigate.

I bought a photo braclet in febuary and paid 2000 rupees on 22 february. It's 10 april now and I still haven't got my order.

Not really a gift card. Just a suggestion and process for reimbursement

This is an annoying gift to receive. It’s not really even a gift card to the store. It’s basically a suggestion that you buy something at a store. It’s a lot of unnecessary steps to receive a gift. You have to go in and either put in your bank account info to have the money deposited to your account in 2-3 days or apply for a visa gift card to be delivered to your home in 2 weeks. It’s not a gift card that you van take to a store and use. It’s basically just a task to do to apply to get the money if you want it. It feels like it’s meant to frustrate people to the point that they never redeem it. My daughter received it as a gift and we went to the store, and excited to spend the gift card and in reality, it turned out I just had to pay for the stuff and in 2 weeks I’ll receive a visa gift card. And those usually cost a few dollars to actually redeem. I will never give this as a gift

Nightmare

Do not waste your time or money buying this card. They either need your bank account to put the money in or they gave you a gift card that works nowhere. My kids bought it for me to use at a restaurant. They got charged at least 20% for even buying the card which I have no idea why they would even do that. Give the person cash or go straight to the source to buy the credit card or get a credit card from Visa or MasterCard directly from the source stay away from this merchant. There is no need to go through a third-party go to the direct source. If you have any problems, there is nobody to call you have to email and be bothered with a computer and then somebody eventually gets back to you. Nightmare if I could give it no stars I would. Date

They should be called GRIFTLY

Quite a nifty concept, ask people to pay your company to get their personal information, harvest it and sell it. Not a real gift card. Once they've already gotten the personal information of the gifter, now you have a couple of generous ways to get your money. Opt for a Visa gift card but no deal if you don't put in your email and phone number and confirm it. Or even better, opt for a direct deposit for which you need to provide names, phone numbers as well as email (confirmed of course) and bank account number and routing number. Niiiiiiice.

Upset Customer

Do not use Giftly took 3 weeks to received a gift card after purchasing the a email stating to activate card you have to send then your banking account information after doing so you will receive another email how to activate your card in order to use for purchases I asked for a refund that stated in a email sent back to.me it would a refund would be credited back to my account. Never happened. This went on for over a month never received refund or a gift caed to be used to.purchase anything. 5his is a total scam I was ripped of for $35.00

Total Scam

My husband received a giftly gift card to one of our favorite restaurants. When we tried to use it at the establishment, we were told that they do not accept gift cards from a third party and that they believed it was a scam. When clicking into the confirmation email, it just put us into a loop of having to put in his email address and it asking him to buy a gift card. Would never use this company. The person who gifted the certificate is now trying to get a refund. Horrible experience for all. Stay away.

Do Not Purchase

Ok so firstly the person buying the gift card is basically giving their money to the CEO of this company interest FREE. The receiver has to request the money and hope the money comes via your bank. My bank never received my money from this company. Gifty made it so difficult I gave up and Giftywalked away with my money!

Low rent outfit

Sent a giftly egift and a week later they threatened to cancel it unless I sent them additional info (why approve in the first place?). I sent the info as requested and they cancelled it anyway. Never even contacted me to explain either. Pathetic. Do yourself a favor and use a more reputable company for egifts.

No Stars.

Tried using this Gift Card three times and declined. Checked with Customers service and they claim the business don't how to process this card? Do you realize how embarrassing this is? Never had so much trouble with a Gift card. Afraid to try again, and CS says cannot return the money. Good Luck witrh this one.

The redemption process proved

The redemption process proved overly intricate for my elderly parents. Opting for a printed card seemed logical, only to discover that online redemption essentially meant mailing them a physical card. The complexity detracted from the user-friendly experience I anticipated.

Such a pain

Such a lame thing for this business to be selling gifts that you basically have to turn into cash by transferring to another account. Not at all convenient. Also seams like a scam as the businesses they are "selling" for did not authorize them to use this service.

BEWARE AND DO NOT BUY THEIR CARDS!!!

The cards don't allow you to do much; they don't compute for the actual amount in a restaurant and it took me MANY EMAILS TO GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER. There are so many other ways to send a monetary gift, BUT NOT THIS COMPANY!

Don't recommend using Giftly. Wanted to send a food card to family in hospital. Couldn't. Said phone number wasn't US. Arizona's in US. Website's not good. Better to avoid!

My conpany dont use gift cards yet this site is selling gift cards for my copany. Dont trust them. They are scamming people outta their money and selling fake giftcards
