I’m a new business owner. I decided to try Zeely for lead generation. The tools they provide for making ads and videos are decent. I like them, but it would be better if there were more options in the future. What bothered me, though, is the monthly fee, and then you still have to pay extra to run an ad. It's a lot of money for leads that don’t go anywhere. I really wanted to enjoy it.

Don’t Waste Your Money

I initially signed up for the premium subscription. Had issues with the platform working on my iPhone which had a software version that was sufficient according to the app specs. Couldn’t get to the point of publishing an ad, the app would freeze and crash. They fixed the app a few weeks later and I was able to run an ad. The ad I ran was projected to receive 15,000 impressions, statistics only yielded 5,000. Ad clicks ended up being just shy of 500, which isn’t terrible in my opinion considering I paid $125. The issue was that not a single person that clicked on the ad clicked the “add to cart button” or navigated to ANY OTHER PAGE on the website. That seems super suspect. It’s almost like they have bots going into the ad, navigating to the landing page you establish… and that’s it! Out of just under 500 people, not a single one clicked on another page on my website? Come on. I have people finding my site organically through Google driven by TV ads and they have no issue viewing, navigating, and buying my products daily. I don’t usually do this… but I’m going to say it. Zeely is a scam. AI to create your ads and AI to visit your website. Unfortunately, not too far fetched these days, am I right? Additionally, why is the business address listed on the BBB for a church??

Trust what people say about the positive reviews being FAKE! After I signed up, I quickly saw that the reviews used to market the app are also FAKE! The idea is nice, but the technology just isn’t there yet. First off, there are no clear instructions for using the app, so you end up figuring it out by making mistakes. Each time you submit (render) a video you made, you have to use a credit. The issue is that you CAN’T CONTROL or CHANGE how the pictures show up in your video. They come out in a random order and are cropped in random ways. I kept having to redo my video and could never get the right order and cropping of the photos. After spending $70 on one video, I had no choice but to pick one that actually downloaded and just use that. Another problem is that I made at least 10-12 videos, but only around half of them ever downloaded. I reached out via email to explain the issues, and they replied the next day each time. However, they wouldn’t give me new credits or help with the problems. I told them I would cancel and hope they won't keep charging me as I’ve seen in the comments.

Never use Zeely terrible experience

DO NOT do business with Zeely. I canceled the app, and they continued to take money from my account. Then, they harassed me via email trying to get me to continue using their shitty app. I told them several times via email that I canceled back in February, requesting back any money taken after canceling and these assholes take more money out of my account. They keep saying they forwarded the information to their finance department, whom I've never heard from. It feels like one of those overseas scammers. Plus, it did not generate any sales. Terrible way to do business. Look up reviews pretty much on any platform and you will see tons of people saying simular things. Horrible service, customer service,arrogant, pushy theives stealing from small businesses owners. How is it i canceled in February and they send me a notice in March stating it's canceled and on the same day took another payment. That was intentional. Zeely is a total SCAM. I hope this saves others from having to deal with this nonsense.

If I could give less than one star, I would. This company is a rip-off. I signed up, canceled after two days, and then they gave me a 60-day free trial but still charged me. I did not agree to any charges from my account. I have the no-charge confirmation and will contest it with my bank. There's no proper way to contact them, and it's frustrating because it only works on a cellphone. I expect they'll give a weak reply like before and not fix anything. I'll be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

AVOID!

This company’s subscription model feels completely predatory. Once the free trial ends, they hit you with $80 per week, which is outrageous. When you try to dispute it, they only offer a partial refund and hide behind their terms and conditions. It makes no sense when their cheapest plan is listed at $30. They’re clearly banking on surprise charges and squeezing every dollar they can. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

CON—ZEELY won’t stop charging me

CON—ZEELY won’t stop charging me after the “free trial” ended, and won’t cancel my subscription. They make it impossible to get in touch, very clever, so you can't end this SCAM. They gave a phony reply and if I don’t reply, which I can’t, Trust Pilot calls it a fake review. Interesting. How many bad reviews are needed?

Ripped off

Zeely automated a campaign using meta that had the wrong landing page (it created automatically). When I asked them to edit it or refund it, they said they could not. I did not specify the landing page - they created it automatically and it led no where - no results - wasted money. DONT TRUST - DONT USE.

WASTE OS MONEY

After paying the subscription then you get informed that is by Credits! you are unable to edit your video ads. There is no cancellation of your subscription on your on. I wrote to customer support and they keep ignoring my questions and reply only with AI answers.

Steal people 💰 money

Want to cancel before the trial period they didn't cancel my plan they debited my account and didn't want to refund. It is a way to steal people money.
