I didn't enroll in the PLUS Domestic plan with the 30-day free trial. It seems like it was added by someone at the company when I bought a program. Now, I’m out almost 100 dollars and no one is answering or helping to get my money back. This is unacceptable and a big amount for me. I would never have signed up for even a free trial because I would likely forget. How do I retrieve my money? I REALLY need them to sort this out.

Totally unacceptable! I got charged $109.99 for a Domestika Plus subscription I DIDN'T approve. I never signed up, didn't fill out any forms, and got no email asking for my OK. They just took my money without asking!

Warning to all! Domestika's misleading wording and hidden 'free trial' tricked me into a R1800 subscription (all the money in my account). No reminder emails, no way to request a refund, and automated responses only. I am a cancer survivor and all my money goes to my medical fees and I will not be able to afford them this month. I'm not alone - thousands are speaking out against this scam (check Domestika Scam group on FB).

I've purchased courses from Domestika for years with no problems. Suddenly they are sneaking unwanted "free trials" in on course purchases without authorisation! Having previously trusted them I did not read the fine print in the emailed invoice and did not see the "free trial" and it's terms. Then without any notice (they "say" they send 3 emails advising the end of the "free trial" BUT THEY LIE!!!) they slugged me for hundreds of $ and refuse to refund. I never even knew I had a "free trial" of a Plus account until they stole my money! I've never used it and never will! I don't want it, don't need it, and no longer trust them AT ALL!!!!! Scammers!

Scam, was rolled into yearly membership without signing it for it!

Very bad experience, I bought a course and they somehow automatically added to it yearly subscription that I never wanted and was not visible while placing the order. Then there is no contact no option to cancel and get money back even tho I never use it. SCAM

Upon doing a thorough research, I must conclude, I feel like I have been scammed.

Upon signing up for a 1 mnth course there seemed to have been a mandatory 1year plus trial I could not opt out of. While I had every intention to cancel it. I had issues doing so when I tried to a few days before it expired. I was eventually able to login an d cancel the subscription however it had already charged my PayPal account $109.99. While I understand they are trying to make money off persons with this program. I believe the choice should be optional. I should not be forced to complete courses on your platform because you refuse to provide me with a refund which was requested as soon as the service was cancelled. I have not used the plus service yet I am being told I cannot be refunded. In all my years of ordering services online, this is very new to me. ' Now I know what to look out for in the future and will not allow this t happen again. I will also do my best to educate as many persons as possible regarding this most traumatizing situation.

Domestika took CAD$130 for Domestika Plus with no prior notice. They say you can get a refund within 14 days of the renewal, but that's not accurate. The "refund" button is not there. I've been trying to contact them for 2 weeks with no luck. I’ve messaged on social media, emailed, filled out their form, and called their main office... all I get are unhelpful bot replies. Honestly, I doubt I'll get my money back. It seems like they just took it and that's that.

Beware of scam!!!

BEWARE!! If you buy any individual course, Domestika will charge you an annual fee after 30 days!!! Like many others Domestika subscribers, I've been charged an annual subscription without my consent or knowledge. Tried contacting support to get my refund and received a "too bad" automatic reply. People are being scammed in the hundreds by Domestika! Just look up this facebook page by other subscribers to get the details or check their social media profiles. I'm sorry for the creators that share their work in goodwill, but Domestika is scamming its customers. Stay away from those grifters!

Avoid buying from this company.

Avoid buying from this company. They don’t clearly state that your $6.99 course is part of a trial subscription, and no email highlights the post-trial cost (AU $150) in the subject line. You have to dig through promotional messages to find the fine print. Like most people, I don’t check emails unless the subject line is important. Now I’m asking for a refund and just get an automatic reply that helps nothing. Many complaints on here, Facebook, and elsewhere show others face the same problem. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOMESTIKA

Not worthy of a single star

Please do not trust these guys - they have taken my membership payment and despite saying on the website that they offer a refund - will not. I have begged them to refund because of an oversight - I was ill and was not accessing my email - I cannot afford the payment, however they do not give a damn and will not refund. Despite taking my payment, there has been no welcome email, no reciept, no correspondence at all - they are nothing but scammers who hope you will accidentally forget to cancel your trial and give up.

Company doesn't properly notify before charging for yearly sub. Claimed they sent 3 emails for free trial (not got) & automatically charged when no response ($97.00). Won't cancel or refund. Heard they did same to others, even friend.

Now, the website is clear about the subscription—it's right under the pay button. This hiccup won't stop me from using the website. It's full of great courses from brilliant artists and craftsmen.

Pregunté por certificado que no aparecía. Respondieron por correo con instrucciones claras, pero tardaron casi 48 horas en llegar. Igual resolvieron.

Buen curso, precio confuso

Compré un curso de lettering en oferta, pagué con tarjeta sin drama. La plataforma carga rápido y las descargas están claras. El profe seco, ejercicios aplicables. Lo único latero: el precio cambió al día siguiente y me confundió Domestika Plus. Igual valió la pena.

Clase que me encendió

En la segunda lección de acuarela, cuando el profe mezcló sombras con azules fríos, me hizo clic todo. Pausé, repetí, y terminé muy conforme con el boceto.

Calidad y ritmo impecables

Quedé satisfecho con la calidad del video y las tareas. El flujo es claro, móvil anda bien. Ojo con la renovación automática de Plus.

Cursos que motivan de verdad

Me metí a un curso de ilustración y quedé pegada desde el primer módulo. La fotografía es preciosa, los profes saben y explican sin humo. Plus con créditos me salió a cuenta. Eso sí, anota la fecha de renovación para que no te pille volando.

Registrierung ging flott, die Oberfläche ist super übersichtlich. Ich fand sofort passende Kurse, dank Tags und Lehrerprofilen. Untertitel sind sauber, Downloads praktisch. Besonders mochte ich die Projektaufgaben und die Community-Kommentare, die echt Feedback geben. Tolle Bildqualität, macht richtig Lust weiterzulernen.

Tolle kurse, aber aufpassen

Buchung und Einstieg liefen reibungslos, die Videos sind top produziert und die Dozenten wirken sehr erfahren. Mir gefielen Aufgaben und Materialdownloads. Achten sollte man auf das Abo, weil die Verlängerung teurer sein kann. Support antwortete freundlich, brauchte aber etwas länger. Trotzdem starker Mehrwert.

Regisztráció után percek alatt találtam nekem való kurzusokat a kategóriák és szoftver címkék alapján. A lejátszó gyönyörű, feliratok pontosak, a projektekhez letöltések járnak. Plus kredittel oldottam fel egyet, visszajelzés a közösségben gyors volt. Jó ár promóban.

Reaktion kam nach rund 36 Stunden. Erklärungen waren sachlich, haben das Abo-Thema verständlich gemacht. Mein Anliegen mit Credits wurde gelöst, hätte schneller sein dürfen.

Die Kurse fühlen sich wie kleine Filmproduktionen an. Ich mag die ruhige Struktur und dass ich pausieren kann, wenn der Alltag ruft. Preislich mit Aktionen sehr fair.

Ich fühlte mich motiviert und sicher dank strukturierter Lektionen. Kameraarbeit top, Dozenten kompetent. Zertifikat am Ende gibt mir ein gutes Gefühl.

Registrierung super flott, App übersichtlich, Untertitel sofort verfügbar. Navigation über Kategorien und Software-Tags war ein Traum. Beim Einstieg fiel mir besonders die hohe Videoqualität und die klaren Projektschritte auf. So macht Lernen richtig Spaß.

Előfizetés után azonnal néztem több illusztrációs kurzust. A kommunikáció tiszta, haladási állapot és feladatok jól követhetők, közösségi részben kaptam visszajelzést. Egy kérdést angolul tettem fel, pár órán belül reagáltak. A kreditek beváltása kicsit szokatlan, de rugalmas. A mozi-minőség fogott meg, és a letöltések hasznos segédletei.

Minőség és apró buktatók

A kurzusok képi minősége és tanári felkészültsége miatt magabiztosnak éreztem magam. A Plus megújításnál kicsit frusztrált voltam a teljes ár láttán, ezért beállítottam emlékeztetőt. Így is elégedett vagyok a tartalommal és a tempóval.

Aha pillanat az ecsetnél

Egy akvarell kurzusnál a tanár egyetlen ecsetmozdulattal életre keltette az árnyékot. Megállítottam a videót. Visszatekertem. Megint. Egyszerre lettem lelkes és nyugodt, mert végre értettem, mi hiányzott eddig.
