After a tough two weeks with one trainer, Lauren took over and she was really good. She worked with us to take great care of Murphy, treating him well and teaching him lots. She updated us every day on how he was doing. Even though Murphy got sick (not because of Lauren), and had to leave a day early, he's way better behaved now. He walks nicely on the leash and likes his crate. Before, he used to hate it. There's still some things he could get better at, but picking the two-week training with Lauren was definitely the right choice. We think she's great at what she does.

Ryan did a good job! Our dog Pico started the training program with no basic skills since he was a stray. Ryan was clear and straightforward about what we could expect for Pico's training. He kept us updated throughout the process. Pico returned not only able to sit and lie down, but also calmer, able to walk without pulling, and more settled. His new confidence shows in how he interacts with the world, people, and other dogs! Although it was a big financial investment, it has made a big difference for us. Ryan is very skilled at what he does!

The process was smooth for having my dog picked up and dropped off. I only did 3 weeks of training, so my dog didn't fully change, but the goals I had set were followed and the previous training I had done was reinforced well.

Terrible Training Experience – Avoid This Company

We signed up for a two-week training program, which promised pictures and videos. The trainer rescheduled pick-up time three times on the first day, showing up hours late. A few days in, he got sick and only did "socialization," handled by someone else in his house. We had to request photos and videos, which came choppy and short, like they were rushed. They wanted to keep our puppy an extra week, which made us cautious. We agreed the trainer would bring the puppy for a visit to make sure she was okay before completing the extra week. On visit day, the trainer kept saying he was on his way but admitted later he was just leaving his house. We asked for all the puppy's belongings back, deciding not to extend training. The trainer returned her, admitted the training was inadequate, and agreed on a refund. Our housebroken puppy came back urinating inside, had diarrhea, and forgot previous training. Her vitamins weren't returned. The company only offered an extra two weeks of training, which I refused due to the awful experience. Avoid this company and look for a local trainer. They don't have a listed address, making complaints with the Better Business Bureau impossible.

During their stay, I barely got any updates. When I finally got my pups back, they were so sick I had to rush them to the emergency vet. They were hooked up to IVs, and needed x-rays. Despite my attempts to get some accountability from Dogwise, they refused to refund the training fees or cover the vet bills. The whole ordeal cost me nearly $6,000, and my pups came back with no training and health issues. I later found out others had similar experiences. Wish I’d checked Facebook reviews before. My advice? Stay far away from Dogwise Academy.

Dogwise Academy promised a detailed handover session and follow-up, but we received none of that. After spending a hefty amount, the whole ordeal was pretty distressing. I definitely can't recommend them and urge others to look for better options.

Even Zoee's trainer agreed another round would harm her more. We asked for a refund, but the CEO, Sean Devereux, refused. After countless emails, they finally offered a partial refund of 50%, claiming it as a goodwill gesture. The whole experience was exhausting and felt like pulling teeth. I regret trusting Dogwise with Zoee and hope others will think twice before doing the same.

If you love your pet, look elsewhere for a responsible trainer.

They came back with old, worn-out ones and no bells. Our poor dogs looked like they hadn't eaten properly. The trainer told my daughter they were too young to train, so why did they even take them? No refund, no answers. My kids were heartbroken because we had to give Bella away. Avoid this place at all costs. They’ll neglect your pets and steal your money.

If Jason’s your trainer, be prepared for frustration. I hoped for a better experience and definitely won’t be recommending this program to other pet owners.

She's peeing everywhere and has become aggressive to both dogs and cats. It's like she's a different dog. Her ribs and hip bones are sticking out, and it breaks my heart to see her like this. I have years of experience with dogs, and this is just unacceptable. She was perfectly healthy before. Whatever happened there, it was awful. They don’t even deserve a single star. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

DESTROYED MY DOG

My dog left mischievous . He came back cujo. Very reactive and traumatized. They dont do refunds and their response was to not take him outside to dr's appointments, parks, or the yard without a leash an electric collar. Get an expensive one and use high voltage or he may not respond. He looked under weight and I honestly dont believe that they fed him til time to come home. Do not use this company. They are unethical scam artists and they will break your dog

Did nothing but not feed her

We only have two things walking better on leash and not to attack the cats and she can do neither. They didn’t do anything but stave her. She came back skin and bones. Her ribs are showing and her back end bones are showing. She is now afraid of everything, she was a happy loving dog and now she very timid. What the hell did you do to my sisters dog. Dog is a pit bull and her name is Jazzy. If I could rate lower I would. Minus 10.
