Ordered a mattress and the delivery was great

Ordered a mattress and the delivery was great, they moved it earlier to fit my schedule and it arrived on time. The first mattress was terrible, very soft and my guest slept on it once and then chose the sofa instead. Left a 1 star review here and got a quick reply telling me to contact Jacob which I did and I was offered a swap/upgrade to arrive 2 weeks later FOC. It arrived on time and the new one is brilliant and loved by my next guests. Customer service is very good but 4 stars as the original mattress was not orthopaedic and I had to wrap it in bin bags which cost me almost £10 in bin bags, duct tape and my saninty (not easy)!

I bought a bed and matress

I bought a bed and matress, the bed was okay but the ortho plus matress was said to be medium to firm, but it felt way too soft. I called and talked to Malik, who was very nice and knew what to do, we set up a swap for a diffrent matress and they took the old one back. The Ortho plus matress is not good and not like they said, but I apreciate that Malik fixed the problem.

Simple to order. The quality is good, and putting it together was easy, and it looks great. Hudson Brown was very helpful. The only downside was the delivery company—they couldn't find the address and rudely left everything at the front door.

The first bed was incorrect, with a meager £15 offered to accept it. Opting for another bed made of what seems like low-quality cotton material, it feels cheap. Despite this, the exchange process was less troublesome than anticipated.

The bed arrived, but without the headboard.

The bed arrived, but without the headboard. It showed up 3 or 4 days later. However, the headboard came without any screws to attach the struts to the headboard. I’m still waiting for those. When I called the company, every call was answered by an outside call center, so they couldn’t really assist. Not great. The bed was quite pricey for how simple it is.

Beds.co.uk has good prices, but the 13 day wait for delivery is really slow. Beds.co.uk, you should improve this! People want their mattress fast when they buy it!

Just truly awful service!

Just Truly awful service!!! Ok so ordered a garden table & chairs set on 7th March this year, delivery all arranged shortly after which I thought was great, Then out of the blue 2 weeks later I get an email saying they are out of stock of the product I bought and paid for 2 weeks prior (and had a delivery date!). Was told maybe a couple weeks wait which I was ok with, heard absolutely nothing from them so after 2 weeks time I email asking about my order to then be told still out of stock and would need to wait a further 4-6weeks, once again I thought ok its hardy garden weather anyways so fine to wait. Again heard absolutely nothing further so chased them again myself after 4 weeks to be told no stock and dont know when they would get it back in, told they would know more in 2 weeks time - you can get the pattern building here right? Again heard nothing so chased them again myself to be told still no stock but the grey version will be in around a weeks time, I asked for a picture to see what colour grey which they did send me and I agreed to accept the grey version in place of the black that I had ordered. Told they will arrange deliver soon as expected within 2-3 days. Guess what, 1 week passed and still not heard anything so I yet again chased them myself only to be told that the black is not in stock, would I like the grey one instead - you can imagine the frustration I have at this point by now! I pointed out that I agreed to the grey one over a week ago and was waiting on delivery. I got a reply saying they dont have grey in stock and would have to wait!!! over 2 months since I paid for my item and still nothing has been delivered - I even went out and bought a new garden sofa set to match the pattern of the grey one they told me I would be getting. I am completely fed up with chasing - each time getting a different advisor who cleary isnt reading the chain email. I last chased them 3 days ago and still have no reply as yet. HONESTLY JUST AVOID THESE - might be ok if they have stock and it gets delivered asap but GOD HELP YOU if you need to deal with their support team - absolute shambles of a company!!!

Avoid at all costs

I was moving to a new flat from Norwich to Kingslynn.I had a delivery slot starting at 06:39 which made me stay overnight at a friends house so I can collect the delivery. I double checked with the delivery services over the phone the day before who mentioned that I should be expecting the delivery at 07:20. The driver arrived at 06:16 while I was still at my friend's which is 5 mins away by car. The driver called me. Refused to wait for 5 mins. He threw my things infront of the block of flats on the main street in the town cebtre despite asking him not to do so. Very poor weather. I arrived to find the mattress cover and the bed boxes dirty and soaked with the rain. I tried calling the driver, he didn't reply. I received a very annoying text message from the driver stating that I had asked him to drop the things on the road and I will come in half an hour. That was complete bullshit. But thankfully this liar didn't get into my house as I felt he is a very unsafe person. I contacted the company and they couldn't rectify the situation and they said that the only thing they can offer is refund me a tiny portion of the delivery cost as I paid for the delivery of the bed to my room. I had to get friends to help me with the very diffucult situation to transfer things to my room in order not to have problems with the council leaving the things in front of the block in the middle of the town centre. I will pursue the matter with every possible legal way as I find what happened us very unprofessional and very offending

Beware! Avoid like the plague!

Disgusting company! I paid for a mattress and received one that was completely different. The mattress was supposed to be 10" depth, but was 8", the mattress I received had vastly less padding, extremely different (very cheap) material on the top and different stitching and material on the sides. I tried to refuse the delivery of it, but the driver wouldn't take it back, so I called them, but they kept saying it was the one I ordered, though anyone with eyes could see it wasn't (I mean it's completely different! And thinner so how is that the same?). I supplied them with all the photos of these issues, but they still said it was the same lol. They refused to collect the mattress unless I paid £49.99 for collection. These people are crooks and you should definitely not trust them with your money, you'll end up with some cheap rubbish instead. I have opened a credit card chargeback to get a refund.They are now ignoring me.

Avoid this company at all costs. We had a bed delivered recently, they only sent one person who failed to deliver the bed properly to the right room (despite us paying for specific room delivery), and when we complained to the company we were then called by our personal number by the delivery man who threatened us. The bed was damaged on delivery so we have been trying to get a return and refund for the last few days, but every attempt made has been slowed down. I have called several times already today being told I would be speaking to the "Escalation Manager" and they would call me back, but they still have not called me back. Whenever I call the manager is always "away" or "busy" so I have been blocked. Absolutely awful company and do not ever buy any items from them.

Are they con merchants?

A bed was ordered. I then get an email asking if I want to upgrade my free delivery - for an extra charge - which I decline. 2 days later I get a garbled telephone call with them trying to get me to upgrade my free delivery - which I again decline. I then get an email saying there was a supplier issue and it was delayed indefinitely. I then requested a refund and am now having to chase it. 'Apparently', the 'escalations' department are supposedly going to contact me for the refund. Several emails later .... still waiting Edit: TWO WEEKS LATER and I am STILL waiting for a refund. They have LIED to me, saying the refund was authorised - time and time again. I have now reported them to the Police and Trading Standards for fraud.

Absolutely appalling product and shockingly bad customer service. I purchased a so-called “memory foam spring” mattress for my little boy, and the quality is outright unacceptable. After one night on it myself, I could feel every single spring digging into me — easily one of the worst nights’ sleep I’ve ever had. After just eight weeks, I contacted beds.co.uk for a refund, and they flat-out refused, hiding behind the “age” of the mattress instead of acknowledging the dreadful quality. To make matters worse, their customer service responses are robotic, generic, and completely unhelpful — it’s obvious they’re not interested in actually assisting customers.

SCAM COMPANY FRAUD

this company is a scam! they collect orders, take money without having things in stock! I ordered a garden set on March 26, delivery was supposed to be in a week, then in 2 weeks. and yet Then I got a call saying it was out of stock and the waiting time was 4/5 weeks! My emails about canceling this order, refunding the money for failure to comply with the consumer contract are ignored! Today is April 8 and I still receive an automatic reply to my e-mail saying that I have to wait another 4/5 weeks and receive some ridiculous discounts in return. I want to get my money back. I am reporting this company to the bank for fraud and extortion

So I ordered beds from another company waited 2 days then had to cancel so slept on the floor . I ordered from this company put in order ,call right away I was assured delivery next day so I won't sleep on the floor. Next day I am given a slot and I am happy but by after 11am I am told my order is for next day . Me trying to call them back no one responds or picks up or says anything. So once again I sleeping on the floor while I beg someone please bring the beds as promised. Will wait and update this review.

Ordered a bed in October 202

Ordered a bed in October 2023 with the promise of free assembly, but the delivery driver failed to assemble it. Filed a complaint, and now my bed is broken. The company agreed to replace it, scheduled for delivery on January 15, 2024. However, the replacement driver refused to collect the broken bed or assemble the new one. Terrible experience – steer clear of this company!

id give 0 stars if i could. after 6 emails and numerous phone calls, im STILL waiting on a refund for a duplicate order as their website was having issues. they keep saying the refund has bounced back and they need another 6 working days to get it back into my account. SCAM COMPANY.

Avoid this company at all costs! They sent the wrong mattress, and despite over 30 phone calls and emails, they not only refused a refund but also spun a web of lies. Currently under investigation by Trustpilot and my bank. Complete disgrace to a company!

Stay away from beds.co.uk! I ordered an anti-bedbug memory foam mattress, and they delivered a stained one on October 24th. Not only did it not expand to the full size, but it was also a hassle to return. Terrible experience!

Customer service is awful, say they cancelled the order when it was not then a different department has to do the refund in 7 days. What a totally awful experience!
