Had a problem with the app

Had a problem with the app and needed help. Called Afriex customer care, someone named Tope answered. She didn't know how to use the app. She hung up. Not good!!! Won't use this app again haha. Time to get rid of these scammers. They've taken too much from us. When you call, just listen to music. Ridiculous! We just want to send money to our families. We're not here for your useless music.

Kept my money, and won't return emails

After sending money the first 3xs with this app, it was ok. The 4th time they put my account under review with explanation as to why? After sending requested 3mths of bank statements, reasons why I'm sending this money, what's my relationship with this person, selfiies of me with drivers license and credit card used (numbers on docs, license and card blacked out btw) and a request for a second selfie.... all the emails stopped once I've completed their task. 3 days later, no n money, no emails. Do your homework and don't use this company, I'm sure they'll change the name soon.

Unreliable rates. I did a transfer on Oct 4 2024. The exchange rate showed #1637 to $. I started the transfer, and suddenly, the rate dropped to #1537. I called right away to mention the issue and they escalated it, saying it would be fixed on the 7th of oct 2024, but to my shock, when I called back, they claimed the rate was #1537 before I did the transaction. I argued about it, but they said there's nothing they can do about it. These people are just scammers. I will not suggest the app to anyone. Afriex is a scam.

It has been three weeks since I started asking for my money back. The replies I get are not helpful; you can’t keep my money without a good reason. It feels like a waste of time. I cannot suggest this company.

They collect all my personal information, credit card, social security and drivers l. One i tried sending money with my credit card, i was block because it was not my bank account linked to the app, i called customer service to complin, i was immediately deactivated... run and protect you information, i will be contacting USA consumer services
